What is Night to Shine?
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older.

What activities are provided at Night to Shine?
Some of the activities you will be able to enjoy at Night to Shine include limousine rides, karaoke, hair and makeup touch-ups, shoe shines, a dance floor, and more!

Where is the event being hosted?
Globally, Night to Shine is hosted by hundreds of churches. To see a list of all the host locations around the world, please visit www.timtebowfoundation.org/ministries/night-to-shine
Locally, Riverside Church hosts (along with local sponsors) Night to Shine in the Crossroads area. ​

Who can attend Night to Shine?
Night to Shine is open to anyone with special needs, ages 14 and older.​

When will I be able to register as an Honored Guest for Night to Shine?
Guests can register until Feb 6th. You MUST register to attend as a guest.

When will I be able to register to volunteer at Night to Shine 2024?
Volunteer registrations is open until Feb 6th. You MUST register to attend as a volunteer.

Do volunteers have to be trained?

What should I wear?
If you are an honored guest, ladies are welcome to wear a dress or gown and gentlemen are welcome to wear a suit or tuxedo.
If you are a volunteer, we will provide more information regarding your attire during volunteer training.
If you are serving as a Buddy, please wear modest formalwear.

I want to volunteer. Is training provided and is it mandatory?
Yes, volunteer training will be provided and is mandatory for all volunteers.​
​​
What is the Respite Room?
The Respite Room provides the opportunity for parents and caregivers to rest and enjoy a night off, knowing that their loved ones are having an amazing time in a safe environment with a personally assigned volunteer buddy.
​​​
What is the Sensory Room?
The Sensory Room is a quiet space removed from the main event area where guests can take a few minutes away from the lights, noise, and excitement of Night to Shine should they begin to feel overwhelmed or over-stimulated.
